My feeling is that WAIT WINDOW NOWAIT is a reasonable way to display field output values. There is a switch on the Options page that allows the user to turn this feature off, if they don't want it. I don't think it's worth the complication of putting this additional display item on the form itself, because screen space is at too much of a premium, and it would call for introducing yet another splitter.
