I think we're in disagreement here. From my POV this directory structure helps to better organize a project. It makes it easy to maintain also. AFAIK, all WG-BT projects have this directory structure with few exceptions: all your projects and Validate project. I would not insist, that it's necessary, but I believe that Karl Linney (?) would approve this directory structure too :) I confirm, that pre-defined directory structure would save time and efforts of a programmer, who decides to maintain the project, if it would not be the person, who wrote the original code.
