I assume you are asking about cropping pictures. If it's just a matter of how they're displayed, you can use the VFP Image control to accomplish this by displacing the origin (Left/Top) and adjusting the control's size (Width/Height). Also note the Image Stretch property.
If the issue is how to modify and save a picture to a file programmatically, your best bet would be to search for relevant threads and downloads on the Universal Thread (http://www.universalthread.com/). I've seen quite a few references there on this topic.
